
Well, one of the appealing aspects of Helix native is that it works exactly as the hardware (minus the digitally controlled analog impedance selection), so you can create patches inside your sequencer of choice and then transfer them to the hardware, which is most excellent in my book. I haven't a clue why it gets so much hate, but perhaps it's just not 'cool' like some of the other boutique themed plugins out there.

Try doubling up your guitars, it makes a world of difference - create a duplicate track, pan one left, the other right and play the part twice (Don't use the same performance and copy to each track, they need to be separate recordings to work).
